The Residence Hotel
The Residence hotel centrally located in the heart of Aspen in a 130+ year old building. Our seven individually designed suites offer an alternative to a traditional hotel. Each room features European antique furniture, chandeliers, high ceilings, wood burning fireplaces and Molton Brown amenities. Step out your front door and all of Aspen is within easy reach.
The hotel was recently purchased by Aspen locals Simon Chen and his wife Susan Stone-Chen from the original owner Terry Butler. “We are honored to have been hand selected by Terry to take over the reins of the hotel, while continuing the traditions and authenticity of Terry’s original vision.
Simon a native of Sydney, Australia is a lifelong hotelier and the former Managing Director of Aspen’s own Little Nell hotel. Susan is a luxury Real Estate Broker in the Roaring Fork Valley. Simon & Susan and their children have called Colorado home since 2001 and look forward to welcoming you to The Residence Hotel.
